Overdue accounts will incur interest and administration fees which will be determined by management. If you are a new client you will be required to make a pre-payment of $300 prior to your visit which can be taken over the phone charging your Credit Card, by cash or paid direct into our bank account.

Payment Plan

Town & Country Vet are now a merchant that accepts Zip & QCard, which offers their clients options for paying off their purchases in weekly and/or fortnightly installments, making those unexpected vet bills less stressful. For more details of their repayment options, please follow the link below. You will need to be registered fully with one of these providers before your visit or discharge of the patient, otherwise payment will be required in full.

If you breach any agreed payment terms, debt collection and/or legal proceedings may follow.

Pet Health Insurance

Unlike our healthcare, pet healthcare in New Zealand is not funded by the government, and yet still provides a high standard of medical services and specialised work. This means the cost can be a surprise for some pet owners when they come for their first routine treatment, surgery or emergency care.  At Town & Country Vet we accept most major Pet Health Insurer and encourage our clients to see if there is an insurer that fits their needs. This is because Pet Health Insurance not only helps reduce the stress when it comes to bills, but also allows Veterinarians more options when it comes to treating your family pet.
