  • Whipworms, Trichuris vulpis are intestinal parasites which are about 7 cm long. They live in the large intestine (caecum and colon) of dogs where they cause severe irritation to the lining of these organs.

  • White willow bark is the source from which the basis for aspirin was originally extracted. It is often used as a natural substitute for aspirin in the treatment of musculoskeletal pain and inflammation, and in the prevention of blood clots.

  • Cervical spondylopathy or Canine wobbler syndrome is a problem affecting the neck bones of large breed dogs, particularly Great Danes and Dobermanns.

  • Broadly there are two types of worms that cause problems in the dog, nematodes (roundworms),and cestodes (tapeworms).

  • Your veterinarian may prescribe this medication for allergic respiratory disease such as feline asthma. It must be used with other medication such as corticosteroids and bronchodilators.

  • Zoonoses are diseases which are transmitted from animals to man.
